Crystal Wolf Creature Concept (Process)

The crystal wolf is one of the creatures I designed for 'Project Loui'. Its design is primarily inspired by Fenrir, the mythological wolf in Norse mythology, and several depictions of it in pop culture; especially the many iterations within the Final Fantasy franchise. Instead of intricate patterns or the obligatory chains, I opted for a design that includes icy / crystaline elements, to make it literally prickly.

Project Loui is going to be a Visual Novel, which began as a semester project and is still being developed by two of my (former) fellow students and I.
